sfp: improve support for direct-attach copper cables
Improve the support for direct-attach copper so that we avoid kernel warning messages, and report the appropriate PORT_DA type to userspace. Direct Attach cables can use a number of protocols depending on their range of speeds. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@armlinux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

title='2009-06-15 21:30:26 -0700'>2009-06-15eisa: remove driver_data direct access of struct deviceGreg Kroah-Hartman In the near future, the driver core is going to not allow direct access to the driver_data pointer in struct device. Instead, the functions dev_get_drvdata() and dev_set_drvdata() should be used. These functions have been around since the beginning, so are backwards compatible with all older kernel versions.
