The backlight_bl driver required initialization using
struct generic_bl_info. As there are no more references
to this struct there is no users left.
So it is safe to delete the driver.

Use the wrapper function for retrieving the platform data instead of

Use pr_info() instead of printk() to allow dynamic debugging.  The pr_fmt
prefix for pr_ macros is used.  Also fix checkpatch warnings as below:
