[ Upstream commit e120b6388d7d88635d67dcae6483f39c37111850 ]

Syzkaller reports [1] hitting a warning about an endpoint in use
not having an expected type to it.

Fix the issue by checking for the existence of all proper
endpoints with their according types intact.

Sadly, this patch has not been tested on real hardware.

<title>wifi: mac80211: simplify non-chanctx drivers</title>

There are still surprisingly many non-chanctx drivers, but in
mac80211 that code is a bit awkward. Simplify this by having
those drivers assign 'emulated' ops, so that the mac80211 code
can be more unified between non-chanctx/chanctx drivers. This
cuts the number of places caring about it by about 15, which
are scattered across - now they're fewer and no longer in the
channel context handling.

In ar5523_probe(), ar5523_host_available() calls ar5523_cmd() as below
(there are other functions which finally call ar5523_cmd()):

ar5523_probe()
-&gt; ar5523_host_available()
   -&gt; ar5523_cmd_read()
      -&gt; ar5523_cmd()

If ar5523_cmd() timed out, then ar5523_host_available() failed and
ar5523_probe() freed the device structure. So, ar5523_cmd_tx_cb()
might touch the freed structure.

This patch fixes this issue by canceling in-flight tx cmd if submitted
urb timed out.

mac80211 is fully switching over to the internal TX queue (iTXQ)
implementation. Update all drivers not yet providing the now mandatory
wake_tx_queue() callback.

As an side effect the netdev interfaces of all updated drivers will
switch to the noqueue qdisc.

Split the bss_info_changed method to vif_cfg_changed and
link_info_changed, with the latter getting a link ID.
Also change the 'changed' parameter to u64 already, we
know we need that.

We'll use bss_conf for per-link configuration later, so
move out all the non-link-specific data out into a new

Some adjustments were done with the following spatch:

Kalle Valo says:

====================
wireless-next patches for v5.19

First set of patches for v5.19 and this is a big one. We have two new
drivers, a change in mac80211 STA API affecting most drivers and
ath11k getting support for WCN6750. And as usual lots of fixes and
cleanups all over.

Major changes:

 - prepare sta handling for IEEE 802.11be Multi-Link Operation (MLO) support

rtw88
 - support TP-Link T2E devices

rtw89
 - support firmware crash simulation
 - preparation for 8852ce hardware support

ath11k
 - Wake-on-WLAN support for QCA6390 and WCN6855
 - device recovery (firmware restart) support for QCA6390 and WCN6855
 - support setting Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for WCN6855
 - read country code from SMBIOS for WCN6855/QCA6390
 - support for WCN6750
