[ Upstream commit 6e526fdff7be4f13b24f929a04c0e9ae6761291e ] Make sure to check the number of endpoints to avoid dereferencing a NULL-pointer or accessing memory beyond the endpoint array should a malicious device lack the expected endpoints. The endpoints are specifically dereferenced in the i2400m_bootrom_init path during probe (e.g. in i2400mu_tx_bulk_out). wimax: Remove extern from function prototypes

There are a mix of function prototypes with and without extern in the kernel sources. Standardize on not using extern for function prototypes. Function prototypes don't need to be written with extern. extern is assumed by the compiler. Its use is as unnecessary as using auto to declare automatic/local variables in a block. wimax/i2400m: fix i2400m->wake_tx_skb handling

i2400m_net_wake_tx() sets ->wake_tx_skb with the given skb if ->wake_tx_ws is not pending; however, i2400m_wake_tx_work() could have just started execution and haven't fetched ->wake_tx_skb handling. * i2400m_net_wake_tx() now tests whether the previous ->wake_tx_skb has been consumed by ->wake_tx_ws instead of testing work_pending(). * i2400m_net_wake_stop() is simplified similarly. It always puts ->wake_tx_skb if non-NULL. * Spurious ->wake_tx_skb dereference outside critical section dropped from i2400m_wake_tx_work(). Only compile tested.
