This driver only turns the power on at probe and off via a custom
devm_add_action_or_reset() callback. The new devm_regulator_get_enable()
replaces this boilerplate code.

Note that in event of an error on the devm_regulator_get() the driver
would have continued without enabling the regulator which is probably
not a good idea. So here we handle any error as a reason to fail the
probe(). In theory this may expose breakage on a platform that was
previously papered over but it seems low risk.

____cacheline_aligned is an insufficient guarantee for non-coherent DMA
on platforms with 128 byte cachelines above L1. Switch to the updated
IIO_DMA_MINALIGN definition.

Updated help text to 'may' require buffers to be in their own cacheline.

strtobool() is deprecated and just a wrapper around kstrtobool().Replace
it with kstrtobool() so the deprecated function can be removed eventually.

sysfs_emit() is preferred over raw s*printf() for sysfs attributes since it
knows about the sysfs buffer specifics and has some built-in checks for
size and alignment.

Use sysfs_emit() to format the custom device attributes of the ad9523
driver.

The driver pretty much uses device managed functions. The only left-over is
the iio_device_register() function, which also requires an action-or-reset
hook to disable the regulator on the remove and error path.

This patch applies the semantic patch:
@@
expression I, P, SP;
@@
 I = devm_iio_device_alloc(P, SP);
 ...
- I->dev.parent = P;

It updates 302 files and does 307 deletions.
This semantic patch also removes some comments like
'/* Establish that the iio_dev is a child of the i2c device */'

But this is is only done in case where the block is left empty.

The patch does not seem to cover all cases. It looks like in some cases a
different variable is used in some cases to assign the parent, but it
points to the same reference.
In other cases, the block covered by ... may be just too big to be covered
by the semantic patch.

However, this looks pretty good as well, as it does cover a big bulk of the
drivers that should remove the parent assignment.

To improve the accuracy of the reported VCO frequency perform all
multiplications before divisions. This reduces rounding errors and makes
sure the reported rates are accurate down to the last digit.
