openrisc: Add text patching API support

Add text patching api's to use in subsequent jump_label implementation. We use a new fixmap FIX_TEXT_POKE0 entry to temporarily override MMU mappings to allow read only text pages to be written to. Previously, __set_fix was marked with __init as it was only used during the EARLYCON stage. Now that TEXT_POKE mappings require post-init usage (e.g., FIX_TEXT_POKE0), keeping __init would cause runtime bugs whenset_fixmap accesses invalid memory. Thus, we remove the __init flag to ensure __set_fix remains valid beyond initialization. A new function patch_insn_write is exposed to allow single instruction patching. asm-generic: introduce text-patching.h

Several architectures support text patching, but they name the header files that declare patching functions differently. Make all such headers consistently named text-patching.h and add an empty header in asm-generic for architectures that do not support text patching. openrisc: convert to generic syscall table

The uapi/asm/unistd_32.h and asm/syscall_table_32.h headers can now be generated from scripts/syscall.tbl, which makes this consistent with the other architectures that have their own syscall.tbl. openrisc has one extra system call that gets added to scripts/syscall.tbl. The time32, stat64, rlimit and renameat entries in the syscall_abis_32 line are for system calls that were part of the generic ABI when arch/nios2 got added but are no longer enabled by default for new architectures. Both the user visible side of asm/unistd.h and the internal syscall table in the kernel should have the same effective contents after this. When asm/syscalls.h is included in kernel/fork.c for the purpose of type checking, the redirection macros cause problems. Move these so only the references get redirected. openrisc: Add pci bus support

This patch adds required definitions to allow for PCI buses on OpenRISC. This is being tested on the OpenRISC QEMU virt platform which is in development. OpenRISC does not have IO ports so we keep the definition of IO_SPACE_LIMIT and PIO_RESERVED to be 0. Note, since commit 66bcd06099bb ("parport_pc: Also enable driver for PCI systems") all platforms that support PCI also need to support parallel port. We add a generic header to support compiling parallel port drivers, though they generally will not work as they require IO ports. Signed-off-by: Stafford Horne

local64.h: make mandatory

Make mandatory in include/asm-generic/Kbuild and remove all arch/*/include/asm/local64.h arch-specific files since they only #include . This fixes build errors on arch/c6x/ and arch/nios2/ for block/blk-iocost.c. Build-tested on 21 of 25 arch-es. (tools problems on the others) Yes, we could even rename to and change all #includes to use instead.
