<title>mm: memcontrol: drop dead CONFIG_MEMCG_SWAP config symbol</title>

Since 2d1c498072de ("mm: memcontrol: make swap tracking an integral part
of memory control"), CONFIG_MEMCG_SWAP hasn't been a user-visible config
option anymore, it just means CONFIG_MEMCG &amp;&amp; CONFIG_SWAP.

Update the sites accordingly and drop the symbol.

[ While touching the docs, remove two references to CONFIG_MEMCG_KMEM,
  which hasn't been a user-visible symbol for over half a decade. ]

CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO is now implicitly selected if one picks one of the
explicit options that could be DEBUG_INFO_DWARF_TOOLCHAIN_DEFAULT,
DEBUG_INFO_DWARF4, DEBUG_INFO_DWARF5.

This was actually not what I had in mind when I suggested making it a
'choice' statement, but it's too late to change again now, and the Kconfig
logic is more sensible in the new form.

Change any defconfig file that had CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO enabled but did not
pick DWARF4 or DWARF5 explicitly to now pick the toolchain default.

In order to have a common code base for fscrypt "post read" processing
for all filesystems which support encryption, this commit removes
filesystem specific build config option (e.g. CONFIG_EXT4_FS_ENCRYPTION)
and replaces it with a build option (i.e. CONFIG_FS_ENCRYPTION) whose
value affects all the filesystems making use of fscrypt.

A couple of patches have come up recently to remove particular instances
of obsolete Kconfig symbols from defconfigs. Rather than doing this
piecemeal, simply regenerate them all.

<title>MIPS: generic: Remove input symbols from defconfig</title>

generic_defconfig explicitly disables CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV,
CONFIG_INPUT_KEYBOARD &amp; CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSE which results in warnings
when merging board config fragments if any of them require these
options. This is the case for the ranchu board, which means we've had
the following warning when configuring for generic platform targets
since commit f2d0b0d5c171 ("MIPS: ranchu: Add Ranchu as a new
generic-based board"):

  $ make ARCH=mips 32r2el_defconfig
  Using ./arch/mips/configs/generic_defconfig as base
  Merging arch/mips/configs/generic/32r2.config
  Merging arch/mips/configs/generic/el.config
  Merging ./arch/mips/configs/generic/board-sead-3.config
  Merging ./arch/mips/configs/generic/board-ranchu.config
Value of CONFIG_INPUT_KEYBOARD is redefined by fragment ./arch/mips/configs/generic/board-ranchu.config:
Previous value: # CONFIG_INPUT_KEYBOARD is not set
  New value: CONFIG_INPUT_KEYBOARD=y

  Merging ./arch/mips/configs/generic/board-ni169445.config
  Merging ./arch/mips/configs/generic/board-boston.config
  Merging ./arch/mips/configs/generic/board-ocelot.config
  Merging ./arch/mips/configs/generic/board-xilfpga.config
  scripts/kconfig/conf --olddefconfig Kconfig
  #
  # configuration written to .config
  #

Resolve this by removing mention of the CONFIG_INPUT_* Kconfig symbols
from generic_defconfig, allowing them to take their default values &amp;
allowing board config fragments to enable them without warnings.

This may be problematic if CONFIG_ARCH_MIGHT_HAVE_PC_SERIO is ever
enabled for CONFIG_MIPS_GENERIC=y configurations, but for now that isn't
the case so we can worry about that if &amp; when it happens.

<title>MIPS: generic: Enable Root FS on NFS in generic_defconfig</title>

The generic_defconfig is used for platforms like SEAD3 which do not
usually have fixed storage available, therefore NFS is the preferred
location of the RFS.
When the upstream kernel defconfig is built &amp; tested on platforms such
as SEAD3 this leads to essentially false failures when the RFS fails to
mount.

There is little harm in having this feature enabled by default, so
enable it in the defconfig. Kernel autoconfiguration &amp; DHCP must also be
selected to allow RFS on NFS.
